The MTF Board Members bring a wealth of expertise, leadership and passion to our mission. Comprising seasoned professionals from diverse fields such as technology, finance, ministry and entrepreneurship — each member is dedicated to advancing MTF’s goals with integrity and commitment.
Their collective experience and shared vision ensure that we continue to make a meaningful impact.

Chris Weaver
Founder and CEO
Chris, an Information Technology Executive, brings over 31 years of experience managing large business units and IT/Business Process outsourcing transactions. He has overseen domestic and international operations, managing P&L exceeding $630 million annually and leading 4,500 global professionals.
His passion for service extends to 19 years of involvement in domestic and international missions, including multiple trips to Africa and Romania.
A US Army veteran, Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Management. He is married to Joni and has four adult children.

Dan Perkey
Board Member
Dan served four years in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman before earning a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from The Ohio State University.
In 1996, he founded a landscape contracting business, where he continues to serve as president, leveraging his talent for landscape installation and construction.
Dan and his wife, Jill, have three children: Nathan, Lauren, and Matthew. They are committed to ministry, seeking to follow God’s lead as stewards on Earth.

Dave Kirkey
CPA, CFP, Treasurer
Dave, president and founder of Kirkey & Co, Inc. CPA’s, specializes in tax, accounting, and financial planning for small to medium-sized businesses and individuals. His firm manages $30 million in investments for 400 clients.
Before founding his firm, Dave worked eight years at KPMG. He graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University Fisher School of Business.
Dave’s wife, Stacey, serves as his practice manager. They have two daughters and are active in their community.

Greg Kielich
Board Member
Greg offers over 25 years of management experience in private and public sectors, including 16 years in sales and sales management and nine years in personnel management.
Currently, he serves with the State of Ohio, Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, leading staff with his expertise in sales, marketing, training, and public speaking.
A Miami University graduate with a B.S. in Business Administration, Greg and his wife, Cheryl, have four adult children and serve in church ministries and Malawi missions.

Joe Mattera
Board Member
Joe, a seasoned executive at Honda Federal Credit Union, brings 30 years of experience in financial services, overseeing strategic planning, staff development, lending, customer service, facilities, and human resources.
His leadership in a non-profit credit union aligns with the motto “People helping People,” making his support for the Passion Center/Zomba region a natural fit.
Joe, his wife, and their teenage son are active in ministries, including children’s programs, life groups, and discipleship.

Joe McKaig
Board Member
Joe serves as the Lead Pastor of Decatur Baptist Church in Alabama, a role he has held since returning to the church in 2019. He previously served as Pastor of Students from 1991 to 2004 and led Oakland Heights Baptist Church in Cartersville, Georgia, until 2019.
He completed Shepherd’s School of Ministry in 1990 and is dedicated to advancing the church’s mission of sharing the gospel globally.
Joe and his wife, Debbie, have two adult children, Drew and Lauren, and enjoy traveling to visit them.

Steve Ulrey
Chairman of the Board
Steve, a graduate of The Ohio State University with a BS and MA, transitioned from education to the restaurant industry, where he has served for over 40 years in leadership and ownership roles.
As President/CEO of Ulrey Foods, Inc., dba Flyers Pizza & Subs, he has helped develop concepts into 15–50 store chains. His business is ranked #6 among independent pizzerias in the US.
Steve is dedicated to community service and leadership.
