Creating Jobs for Independence
• 40 Full-Time Workers • 100+ Seasonal Workers • 600+ People Supported • Fair Wages Paid
Namikango Farm creates fair-wage jobs that empower families to achieve financial independence, strengthening local economies and reducing reliance on foreign aid.
We employ 40 full-time and over 100 seasonal workers, paying wages that meet Malawi’s legal standards to tackle the 70% rural unemployment rate. Workers plant, harvest, and process crops, supporting over 600 people through earned income, which boosts local spending and tithing in village churches.
Revenue from farm operations is reinvested to spark new businesses, fostering self-reliance over ineffective aid. Recognized by the US Embassy, this model provides dignity and purpose, enabling families to invest in education and long-term stability.
